Welcome

Well, here I am - an old man. Sort of a cruel reality check. Never thought I’d get there so quick. Born in 1944 - I definitely qualify.

So I figured, maybe I should write my memoirs - but that’s usually reserved to those who’ve accomplished something noteworthy in their lives. Still I thought I should leave something behind, a kind of legacy…

Don’t have any money or any kind of estate, so that’s out; but I’ve been ruminating a lot the past few years (a common affliction with old folks). So, before they evaporate, I’ve decided to gather my thoughts on a few important (but controversial and “sensitive”) subjects, post them online, and see what happens... 

I have a Geology degree from way back, just sitting there gathering dust, so I figured tackling “The Environment” issue (a subject dear to my heart) would be a logical starting point. Be advised that I’m a skeptic by nature; and as the years clicked by, I’ve learned that the more you know, the more you realize that you never really know… So I welcome opposing views.  🙂
